Saratoga Springs barbershop relocating to bigger space

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — After 10 years on Park Place in Saratoga Springs, a local barbershop is moving into a new and bigger space. Tru Cutz Barbershop is moving to a new storefront at 148 South Broadway.

The barbershop announced its relocation on Monday, saying the new, expanded space marks a significant milestone in the business’s growth and commitment to the community. Tru Cutz Barbershop said the company and its clientele had outgrown its previous location, which had only five barber chairs and limited waiting room space.

The new location not only allows Tru Cutz to add new amenities and services but also features eight barber chairs, a larger waiting area, and dedicated parking. On February 6, the shop is holding a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony at 9:45 a.m.

“This move feels full circle,” Owner Lamont Washington said. “We’ve poured our hearts into this shop for over a decade. Staying in the same community that supported us from the beginning was incredibly important, and this new space allows us to grow without losing who we are or where we came from.”
